CBDuck, named in honor of our rescue duck sanctuary, Sanctuary at SHO, is our line of regeneratively-grown, full-spectrum infused CBD oils made from high CBD low/no THC hemp grown on our farm. We grow ‘beyond organic’, grow our own seed adapted to a wild, cold-climate setting, use no black plastic mulch, cultivate aromatic and beneficial ground covers (like basil, cilantro, ground ivy, and wild mint) around our hemp plants, and use top dressings of aged, farm-made compost from our duck sanctuary.

WHY OUR CBD PRODUCTS ARE DIFFERENT FROM OTHERS ON THE MARKET
1. Holistic approach. Most companies focus solely on CBD as an isolated cannabinoid. We focus on the entire plant, and process it in such a way that captures and enhances the best hemp/cannabis has to offer. Isolating one component from a plant ignores the healthful and synergistic benefits (like other cannabinoids and terpenes/aromatics) that we could otherwise benefit from. 2. We do everything onsite to enhance the integrity of what you receive. Oils: We cold-infuse hemp flowers into ethanol and then evaporate off the ethanol at low temperatures to retain some CBDA and other vital raw plant cannabinoids and beneficial terpenes. 3. All plant-centered. All plants are grown with no slaughterhouse animal by-products or fish emulsions. We use organic, natural red-worm-casting-rich compost from our duck sanctuary, which is comprised of local hay, green pine sawdust, granite grit, and poop produced by our rescue duck sanctuary.
4. Highest growing standards. Our plants were grown without mechanical soil tillage and in relationship to vital pollinator, soil, and agroforestry habitat. We use NO PLASTIC MULCHES unlike many organic growers in Northeastern USA. We grow our hemp plants in aromatic ground covers like ground ivy (a member of the mint family), wild mint, cilantro and basil, all aromatics that provide vital habitat. We use composted wood chips, plant teas made of comfrey and other on-site plants as natural fertilizers. We go beyond the organic growing standards, taking non-harming regenerative practices to the next level by focussing on habitat for networks of life alongside the growing of food and medicine for humans.
4 All organic ingredients. We use simple, organic coconut oil to make the CBD, vital cannabinoids, and terpenes bioavailable. This oil contains multiple chain triglycerides (MCTs) that enable the human body to properly absorb vital cannabinoids and CBD. Our simple formulation can be taken internally or applied externally.

HOW TO TAKE OUR CBD OIL
If taking internally, start with 1 ml of oil under your tongue (using the 1ml spoon supplied), holding it as long as possible, 1x in the morning and 1x in the evening. The idea is to start with as low a dose as possible, and increase as needed after 3 days. Everyone’s needs are different, but it’s always most effective to start low and build gradually. If using to treat specific areas of pain on your body, rub the area with a small amount of oil, and re-apply every 2-4 hours for targeted pain relief. It may take time to notice results.
